Theft, fraud, possible lawsuit?
I am another victim. Will be reporting them to several consumer advocacy groups, the FL Attorney General, BBB, and local authorities. Theft, Fraud, Breach of Contract, False Advertisement. There is a large group of individuals that are joining in to address these issues further. I also plan on having the state of Florida and the Federal regulatory commission look into the so called "non-profit" divisions of RMS Communications, Inc. Email me if you would like further information at john_sti@***.com And for the record: CFC has confirmed the receipt of the phone sold and also confirmed the phone passed their quality tests. 8 months later, numerous emails and phone calls - still no check! Small claims court here I come!

CellForCash.com Theives
Sent 2 iPhones to CellForCash.com back in August of 2010. They received and verified my phones on August 5th, 2010 and sent me a statement that they would be sending me $177.00 for the 2 phones. Their website terms indicate payment will take 45 days. It is now February of 2011 and I still have not received payment. After multiple attempts to contact the company, the only response I received was this email: "Thank you for your continued contact. I am still aware your transaction has not been issued a payment and I follow up with the accounting department regularly trying to get this issue resolved. I do not have any new status information to report at this time. Thank You, Customer Servicecustomer-service@***.comwww.CellForCash.com " And I only received that e-mail after threatening to have my attorney contact them. They won't even return the phones I've sent them. They are thieves that will steal your phone and not send you a dime for it. Do not do business with them. My next course of action is going to be getting a class action lawsuit started against this company. Who is with me?

This so called company is run out of Ocala, FL by a guy named Mike Mosieur. These guys are running a scam. The scam? Get you to mail them your cell phone (they even send you a postage paid box) and promise to mail you in a check within 45 days of verifying your phone. Guess what? In my case, no check after 100 days. I sent them a 32GB 3GS IPhone. They even have a website where you can check the "status" of your transaction. Here's what mine reads today (11/12/2010): Order ID: 3881XX Transaction Information Date you placed the transaction: 07/12/2010 We sent your box: 07/13/2010 We received your phones: 07/29/2010 Verified your phones: 08/05/2010 We cut you a check: Check Amount: Comments: Promotions: Originally Entered on the Website ItemNum Manufacturer Model Qty Value Total 2B00APPIPHONE3GS32GB Apple 32GB 3GS 1 $240.00 $240.00 Totals: 1 $240.00 What We Scanned and Tested Manufacturer Model ESN Testing Notes Price Apple IPH3GS32GB XXXXXXXXXXXXXX Passed $240.00 Totals: $240.00 Notice the blank spaces in front of "We cut you a check" and "check amount". There own User Agreement states that a check is sent out for the agreed amount within 45 days of your phone being verified. If you send them an email within the 45 day window, they'll repeat this to you. If you email them after the 45 days and IF they reply, they'll stall you. Stalling tactics? Example from an actual email from them: "Your request is being sent to the accounting department". what a joke! Should have seen this coming. Reason? There is NO PHONE NUMBER on their website. The guy calling himself Mike Mosieur, who supposedly runs this bogus company, uses a Yahoo.com email address (mmosieur@***.com). Ever heard of a reputable outfit using Yahoo! for their email??? I'm sending complaints to my local media, the New York Times, consumer advocate Clark Howard and contacting the Sheriff in Ocala, FL. He took my phone and is refusing to send it back (I copied the Serial #) or send the money that was promised. THIS IS CALLED THEFT. Stay Away. You're FAR FAR better off selling your phone to friend or on EBay.

Cellforcash.com
You may have seen stories on news shows such as the Today Show or your local news stations on how to make extra cash. One of their tips was to sell your old cell phone to cellforcash.com. I decided to give a shot to recoup some cash for a decently expensive phone. I went online and filled out the information regarding the make and model of phone. They told me they would give me $50 for the phone and sent me a box and mailing label, postage paid, so I sent it in. On their website, they acknowledged receiving it, and also that it was worth they $50 to them. However, it does not say they sent the check, and I have not received anything from them. This happened August of 2009, it is now July of 2010, and still... nothing! I have e-mailed, but to no avail. There is no phone number to reach them, but through research I found a number to their parent company, RMS Communications. Again, no answers or responses. I am not the first person this has happened to, or the last. The internet is riddled with scam reports and complaints. It is bad enough that this company is stealing from people, but maybe the true shame lies in the lack of journalistic integrity and proper research. Shame on them both.
